Big Sean, the latest mixtape rapper to be buzzing in almost everyone’s ears, stereos and cars, made a stunning appearance of the popular BET show, 106 & Park, last night.
The emcee is currently becoming a great source of hype in the music world, and with great reason; he is releasing his first album on June 28th, entitled Finally Famous, which is greatly anticipated due to such head-bumping tracks as “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay” and “Too Fake.”
However, Big Sean’s stardom did not occur overnight. He attracted mentor Kanye West’s attention in 2005 in the 102.7 radio station. He was not signed to G.O.O.D. music until 2007, and since then, he has collaborated with artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Kanye West, Chris Brown and Curren$y.
Surely, his rapping reign will continue to prosper.
Nonetheless, the Detroit rapper graced New York City with his appearance at 106&Park, in which he promoted his upcoming album. You can check out his amazing performance below, with special guest appearance Kanye West.
