Gucci free, y’all!  And he’s already hard at work. The incredibly-NSFW video for Ludacris’ “Shake-N-Fries”, on which Gucci has a feature, released today. (Seriously. Don’t watch that video at the office unless you really don’t care about getting fired.)

Plus, his collaboration album with V-Nasty of White Girl Mob, BAYTL, comes out today. So far, critics haven’t been too kind.

One of the most telling reviews was from Allhiphop.com. They gave the album a 3 out of 10, calling the announcement that the duo would be releasing an album one of the most “confusing” occurrences in hip-hop this year. They also dubbed V-Nasty as the album’s “weak link” saying:

“The one single thing that hinders this album from being even a decent output is the people attached to it, or rather the females. It’s unfortunate that Gucci Mane chooses this album to actually improve his flow and his bars, because the N-word toting V-Nasty is by far the weak link, and her weaknesses easily outweigh Gucci’s rap improvements and upgrades.”

For those who don’t know, Gucci has been behind bars since September 13. Why? For pushing a 36-year-old woman out of a moving vehicle. The East Atlanta rapper has been behind bars most of his career, and he plans to put an end to the cycle.

Yesterday, he told XXL:

“This is the last time I think I’ll ever be in jail. It was a time for me to sit back and just refocus the whole way I do things, man. The times away from my fans just made me want to grind, get in the studio, go to my shows and appreciate my job and what I do now.”

Best of luck to him.
