Video game development company 4mm Games and Def Jam Enterprise combined to develop a karaoke themed rap video game, due to be released on October 5th, 2010. The game, Def Jam Rapstar, is based on Hip-Hop & Rap music that’ll give Hip-Hop Gamers the music game they’ve been looking for. Do you have what it takes to be a Def Jam Rapstar? That question will be answered during the game play as you are given scores for your lyrical accuracy, timing and cadence. However, it doesn’t stop there– that’s only the beginning.
It’s time to get your swag on and be a Rapstar as you direct, edit and star in your own music video. If you’re up for the challenge you can Freestyle and see if you can make the ‘Top Five Dead Or Alive” list. Def Jam Rapstar will feature different Old School and New School tracks from some of the hottest artists on the market.
