Kanye West x Jay – Z “H.A.M.” Performance (VIDEO)
The highly anticipated Jay-Z x Kanye West collaboration album, Watch The Throne has been at the center of rumors and speculation since January. There have been several reports suggesting release dates throughout the year, but so far the only thing that has resulted from all the talk was the release of the first single, “H.A.M.,” which was produced by Virginia native, Lex Lugar.
Big Sean who’s apart of West’s GOOD Music recording label and who’s LP Finally Famous: The Album, landed number three on the Billboards chart, told MTV that he literally watched the throne come alive but still only said the bare minimum. “There is just some good *** songs on there,” he said.

Many loyal fans are impatiently awaiting the album, but what if all the anticipation does not live up to the hype? We all can concur that Jay-Z and Kanye West are probably the two biggest hip hop artist alive right now. Both has always graced us with an impeccable album that even years later one may hear a new metaphor that he or she has never heard before, but can two very successful artist really share the limelight on one album?
We all saw how “The Best of Both Worlds” tour destroyed R. Kelly and Jay-Z’s relationship, when R. Kelly suggested there were two men waving guns at him during a performance at Madison Square Garden in 2004. Can we expect the same bizarre acts of an insecure egomaniac from either Jay-Z or Kanye West? Or can they both make sure to keep their friendship a priority and make sure their music reflects the talents and maturity of both artists?
We’ll just have to wait and see. You can preorder the album at watchthethrone.com. Although there is no official release date the shipping date on customers receipt is “2011-08-02.”
