When you're getting the following error in the Event Viewer on your SharePoint 2010 system: Load control template file /_controltemplates/TaxonomyPicker.ascx failed: Could not load type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.TaxonomyPicker' from assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal, Version=220.127.116.11, Culture=neutral, Event Id 7043 Exchange 2010 To be on the safe side, simply rename the control to something like "TaxonomyPicker.ascx.BAK" just in case. Just made the change outlined above! The first timer job is a “one-time” job, the other one is a “daily” job.

This user control is important or not for sharePPoint 2010 Servers. The problem is that there is a bad charater in the template file.
