Asian Hip Hop Summit Brings Music Throughout Country

Ten years after the Los Angeles Riots of 1992 brought racial and ethnic tensions to a boil, the first Asian Hip Hop Summit was held as a commemoration to bring together groups of people affected by the riot.

Now in its eighth year, the Asian Hip Hop Summit continues to promote activism and cultural pride across the globe.

The first Asian Hip Hop Summit was held on the 10th anniversary of the Los Angeles Riots at the Seoul International Park, and has spread through over 40 cities in North America. It will kick off on October 21 in San Francisco and continue throughout the country before finishing in Los Angles on November 21.

This is a good subject to talk about. Generally when I come across these sort of things I like to post them on Digg. This article probably won’t do well with that crowd. I will be sure to submit something else though.
