OS X can't be installed on the disk Macintosh HD because a recovery system can't be created. First I deleted the Boot Camp partition and still the same. However, for any new system that shipped with Mountain Lion, if you want to reinstall the OS, do not go through the App Store; instead use the OS X recovery partition Attach the secondary hard drive, and boot to the recovery tools and install OS X to this drive after partitioning and formatting it.
