thydzik celest, the link is at the bottom of the post ray man YES, finally! I don't want to have to reinstall that again*sigh*. This helped me to setup correct audio driver for my brothers laptop (Sony VAIO VGN-SZ5VRN/X). There are no dependencies for the Audio service.

The best I can do is suggest things to check that might cause that driver not to start. I am having a hard time figuring out what is wrong here!
