i've tried ftp.creative.com in a browser windw\ow... I read the suggested solution from you but i still have some questions. 1) Where can i find these driver packs that you mentioned? I read one of the numbers wrong to start with which didn't help. I uninstalled my Audigy 2 drivers (in preparation for reinstall) using this article from Creative Knowledge Base " How to completely uninstall Sound Blaster audio cards", reinstall was without problems. Please ensure that your sound blaster hardware is properly installed before running this setup program. Did you ever figure out why it will not recognize your card? I remember it being a pain in the @$$ to install the first time, but not like this.

Well I found your site and tried it but now its telling me two files can't be found and/or copied…ctac32k.sys and hap16v2k.sys. Everything else went like clockwork, but no Audigy.
