screen shots of device manager, et al. downloaded the freaking drivers from Creative Lab's own website only to find that they DIDN'T WORK EITHER!! User Name Remember Me? Did you ever figure out why it will not recognize your card?

Finally came across your solution on the net and wallah! Would it still show up (with the yellow ?) under "Other devices"? In Device Manager, under Other devices (with yellow question mark) shows Multimedia Audio Controller (with Yellow question mark).

Go through those misc. All give the error that the card can't be detected.
