apparently i needed to manually install the drivers 'twice'... Here's another thread with solutions. The card was old. I have a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Digital sound card, but it wont install right.

Value card everything was OK but this 5.1 Digital seems to be somehow strange... I've had the dumb thing for years and never got it working properly because Creative offers absolutely NO HELP to their customers. as I have mentioned before for some reason Creative doesn't offer all drivers in all countries ....

I got the drivers from the creative web site, but it keeps saying my card's not installed. Make sure it is properly fixed in the slot.. Suggestions?
