It is the same when i try to run a full system scan. If you still cannot run a scan, you need to uninstall and reinstall the product using the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool. However, when i click on the "fix" button it tells me quick scan has failed to complete. I know my mac didn't need it, I did it more out of curiosity and after about a day of playing around with it, I uninstalled it using the app AppCleaner. I'm having to perform the "solution" at least once a week if not more frequently which is annoying to say the least.
