Has anyone seen this error? This driver update failure in the system caused serious issues like blue screen of death. I understand dlethe's concerns, and if I had been forced to continue editing setup files to get any kind of result, then those concerns would be valid. However, once I had successfully installed the RAID drivers, the chipset and video drivers presented no problem , nor did the backplane driver, and a visit to Broadcom's site winkled out Lsi_sas.sys is not present on the snapshot. I now have a Device Manager that is bang-free, and as I type the machine is busily downloading Windows updates.
